A Russian version of this shawl is included.
This is a top down lace triangle shawlette. A larger size can be made by working more repeats.
I designed this pattern after test knitting the beautiful Sandra’s Stole for LindaCC Linda designed her stole as a tribute to her sister who has been diagnosed with cancer. 50% of the proceeds from the sale of Sandra’s Shawl will be donated to a cancer charity. I’ve donated £44.00 to Macmillan Nurses after only two days of sales. I’m so pleased.
I have now sent out an update which includes charts to make a larger version of the shawl. I have also made improvements to charts 2 & 3 at the center.
A special thanks to testkitchen45 for all her help and for being my second pair of eyes in catching the errors I missed.

JFYI: Regarding the 5R & 5L stitches on charts 2 and 2a.
These are gathered stitches and are very different to nupps.
Work them as instructed in the legend then on the following row you work the 5 stitches seperately.

30/5/11 a couple of errors have been spotted by testkitchen45
The charts have been corrected and updates sent out.
• Row 45, right side--red number says 11; should say 10 (at far R side)
• Row 47, right side--red number says 7; should say 6 (at far R side)
• Row 47, left side--final 5-cluster should be a 5R, not a 5L
We are now on V1.4

23/12/11 A couple of errors have been reported, chart 2 right side, row 27 chart should read: YO, k, k, N, k, k, k, N thanks to VintageRedhead also row 29, same section, right directly above. Row starts YO, then the “number” reads “11” but it should be “12”,
