Sands of Time arm warmers are beautifully snug and lusciously soft. Knitted with DK yarn in a simple 4 row pattern that features an hour glass rib that continues down the thumb.

You will need between 150 and 230 yards of DK weight yarn depending on the length of arm warmers you choose to knit.
I used 200 yards of yarn to knit 9 inch long arm warmers (5.5 inches to base of thumb). If you want yours to be longer, you will need more yarn.

The arm warmers are knit on US size 5 double pointed needles, but are equally suited to using two circular needles. The gauge obtained with this yarn in stockinette stitch on US size 5 needles is 24 st to 32 rows.

To knit 9 inch long arm warmers, you will need 2 skeins of Debbie Bliss Rialto DK or any other DK weight yarn of similar yardage that gives the same gauge.
