The entire sweater is knitted in colourwork in the round, thus avoiding the need to work purl rows. Extra steek stitches are cast on at arm openings and neck opening and the waste fabric that these stitches create is later cut open.

The sweater is designed with 3-8cm/1.25-3in positive ease. If wanted, it can be blocked so that the actual bust measurement is up to 5cm/2in smaller than indicated in the sizing chart.
