Sandstone
This pattern includes instructions for the basic mesh stitch, Off-set Puff stitch & tassel - 3 pages
Although I’m giving written instructions, both written & in diagram, I nevertheless consider it as a basically freeform/freestyle pattern…. after all you have to start somewhere….
Your choice of yarn/yarns, buttons, beads, even crochet motifs that can be sewn on later, your hook size, working the pattern in dc (US sc), htr (US hdc), tr (US dc), dtr (US tr) or combinations there of - whether you work your foundation chain length or width wise (as in photos) - particularly relevant when working in stripes - will all determine the look of your finished project.
The yarn used in Sandstone was found (without labels) in a garage sale & I presume it’s 12 ply cotton - I used approx 290 grms
Experiment & have fun with this dead easy basic freeform/freestyle pattern
