Sandstone Neck Scarf by Carolyn Calderon
A warm accessory as the tall stitches are joined together to make a solid yet intricate fabric, using the linked double crochet stitch. A two row repeat that is easy to memorize for the scarf, and a couple of rounds for the pretty scallop edging. This is really fun to make.
This sample is in Caron Macchiato Cakes. It’s listed as a #5 weight bulky yarn, but to me, it feels more like a #4 worsted weight. If you want to substitute the yarn, keep this in mind. I used a size 6.00 mm J/10 crochet hook.
Includes written instructions and video on the stitch in US terminology. Please see pattern website for more details.
Thank you for your interest in my designs.
Have a great day,
Carolyn
