SandTwister is a relaxed fit sweater, worked from the bottom up. Front and back pieces are worked separately and joined at the shoulders. Sleeves are worked flat as well.

The simple cables on the upper body create gentle waves, while twisted stocking stitches over the body give the sweater a subtle texture.The balloon sleeves with side-pleats create a laidback elegant look.

Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

GAUGE

60 sts & 48 rows = 8¼” x 6½” (21 cm x 16.5 cm) in Sand Wind Cable with size US 6 (4 mm) needle, blocked.
24 sts & 30 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Twisted Rib stitch with size US 4 (3.5 mm) needle, blocked.
21.5 sts & 30 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Twisted St stitch with size US 6 (4 mm) needle, blocked.
