The size of the cookie can be changed with the size of yarn. Just use a recommended hook for your chosen yarn. Type of cookie can be altered easily by colour choice:
Tan/red - Jammie Dodger
Pale tan/yellow - Lemon yo-yo
Dark brown/white - Oreo

Smaller yarn (DK) and hook (3.5mm) without they eyes and stuffing will result in cute play food.
