\What to do when life gives you The World’s Sloppiest Apartment Renovation? Why, knit socks to mock the occasion! Designed in commemoration of the sandwich left behind on my hallway floor, Sandwich on My Floor features a sandwich stitch cuff (for the sandwich) and a ribbed pattern that’s interrupted (for the disruption to my home life), all knit in the colors of a sad, tired peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Sizes
To fit 7.5” (18.5 cm), 9” (23 cm), 11” (28 cm) foot circumference. Foot length is customizable. Leg is 5” (12.5 cm) tall.
For those who like to choose their socks by stitch count, the counts are: 64 (80, 96)
Yarn
Valley Yarns Huntington (75/25 merino/nylon; 218 yds/1.76 oz (199 m/50 g)) or other light fingering sock yarn
Color: For socks as shown with colors reversed, one skein each of two contrasting colorways.
If working matching socks, ~300 to 400 yds (275 to 360 m) main color and 30 yds (27.5 m) contrasting color.

Needles and Tools
US Size 1 (2.25 mm) circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge. Pattern is written for Magic Loop/two circulars.
