Sandworm cowl:

Skill level: Confident Beginner

Supplies:
2 red buttons , needle and thread to sew
12mm Crochet hook
1 skein of Furreal Arctic Fox (Color A)
1 Skein of Furrel Panther (Color B)
Small amount of teal yarn of similar weight (Red Heart Soft: Deep Sea is what I used and held it double to match the weight)

Gauge:
4 dc X 2 Rows = 3in
Finished length :
5in X 39in

I created this pattern to use up some left over yarn from my more complex Sand Worm Stole.

This cowl works up pretty quickly with the Furreal and feels so warm and cozy.
This piece is worked by making the portion body first then crocheting the tail and head directly onto the body.
No sewing required the head is worked in 2 separate pieces to create an upper and lower jaw, the mouth has a hole for the tail to pull through which keeps the cowl closed .

You can make your Sandworm longer if you want to just be sure that you end with a white end and a black end.
