Sandy Point is full of craggy rocks and pebbles. The waves crash against the coastline and lap along small inlets. It’s full of interesting texture just like these simple fingerless mitts.
Sizes: Small (Medium, Large)
Approx Circumference: 7 (7, 8.5)“/ 17.5 (21.5, 21.5) cm
Materials and tools:
40-50g Sport weight yarn
Small sample uses 40g
Needles: DPNs or circular needles to obtain gauge.
Recommended size US 3/3.25mm
Gauge: 30 stitches x 40 rounds = 4”/10cm in main stitch pattern
Notions: Stitch markers, yarn needle, waste yarn
Skills required: Stitches used include knitting, purling, twisted stitches (ktbl), slipped stitches, passing stitches over, increases and decreases.
Techniques used include: knitting in the round, ribbing, putting stitches on hold and picking up stitches
