PATTERN STORY
It was time for me to make a cozy, ‘woven’ scarf with some unspun yarn that was calling me from stash. This is simple and quick and so much fun to make.

SKILLS NEEDED
Increasing & decreasing
Reading charts
This project is suitable for an advanced beginner

CONSTRUCTION
The scarf is knit flat from beginning to end

YARN
Wool Dreamers, Manchelopis - Azul , 230 m / 250 yds per 100g

Project requires approx. 690 m / 750 yds, 300 g of Manchelopis. The sample was created with 2.5 plates, but milage may vary depending on how you knit.

This project should work with the same meterage in a worsted weight yarn.

GAUGE & NEEDLES
Gauge is 16 sts x 21 rows per 10 cm / 4 in in stockinette stitch
The recommended needles are 4.5 mm / US 7 with a 40 cm / 16 in cable

Gauge is not important for this project, but it will affect the drape and size of the final scarf.

RECOMMENDED NOTIONS
Removable stitch markers & a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
