The Sank socks are designed to use up mini skeins or scraps, and is an encouragement to try plant dyeing for those who are curious. The pattern is released together with a simple guide to plant dyeing wool yarn available at Elk market yarn’s web site. The socks can of course be made in any yarn; undyed, plant dyed or acid dyed, that gives the right gauge.

Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4)
Finished measurements: 19,5 (20.5, 22, 23.5) cm / 7.5 (8, 8.5, 9.25)” foot circumference. The length of the leg and foot are easily adjusted, but keep in mind that making them longer requires extra yardage.
Recommended ease: Choose a size that is around 2.5 cm (1”) smaller than the largest circumference of your foot.
Yarn: Approximately 250-300 m / 275-328 yards of MC and approximately 75 m / 82 yards of CC, of a fingering/sport weight yarn to get gauge
