Sanna is the first pattern I wrote during my long life as a knitter. Over the years, learning new techniques and new tricks, I have modified some flaws that this novice writer model had. Now, I am very satisfied with my “Sanna Shawl”. This shawl is worked in different step. First is knit down and out from the centre of the top edge. The increases are worked in the edge of the shawl each right side. Other increases are worked with the lace stitch. The cable border is then worked across, putting more and more stitches to rest as you go and, in the end, this are used to add the picot edging. It is possible to work sanna with only one color.

Sanna è il primo modello che ho scritto durante la mia lunga vita da sferruzzatrice. Negli anni, ho imparato nuove tecniche e nuovi trucchi che mi hanno permesso di correggere alcuni difetti che questo scialle aveva.
La perfezionista che è in me ora è molto soddisfatta del nuovo “Sanna shawl”. Lo scialle è lavorato in differenti step. Si inizia con poche maglie utilizzando un avvio piatto chiamato “garter tab”. Gli aumenti sono lavorati sia ai lati nei ferri diritti, sia durante il cambio colore, nel pizzo. Il bordo a treccia è poi lavorato trasversalmente intrecciando le maglie del corpo dello scialle al bordo, mentre nuove maglie vengono avviate all’esterno della treccia. Le nuove maglie saranno poi utilizzate per la chiusura a picot. E’ possibile lavorare lo scialle in un solo colore.

-Colore Principale: “verde scuro”: 2 gomitoli 50g/180mt
-Colore a contrasto “grigio”: 2 gomitoli 50g/180mt
