This is a lovely crocheted pullover for little girls who wear sizes 6, 8,10 & 12. It is made using a floral petal design on the bodice that is created by making dc clusters into each other. Worn loosely and unstretched, the pattern looks a lot like cables and bobbles. When your little girl grows into it, the floral petal pattern emerges much more clearly (see the 2nd pic for a close up view).

You’ll make this in 2 pieces, with a minimal of sewing/seaming up. The sleeves have a lacy cuff stitch pattern, then transition to dc. Each sleeve incorporates half of the bodice and neckline, which are worked in a floral petal stitch pattern. Once completed, they are seamed up the back & front, then from the cuff, up the sleeve and down the hem of the bodice. At that point, you’ll turn it upside down and work the treble stitched shell pattern peplum skirt portion in rounds, so you can make it cropped like the one shown, or as long as you and your little girl would like it.

To make this, you will use chains, single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet and double crochet clusters crocheted into each other. I provide you with clearly written, detailed instructions -- with only the most minimal of abbreviations -- and close up color photos of the stitch details.
