I designed this cowl using the traditional Sanquhar chart patterns as a project for the group of knitters that came to the Edinburgh Yarnfest with me. We had a really wonderful time and many of these knitters finished the cowl. It is knit with two colors of Jaggerspun Lamb’s Wool in a worsted weight, and although black and white are the most traditional color combinations, many knitters have chosen to knit this in their personal favorites. This is knit in the round using a fair isle technique. Easy enough for an intermediate knitter with some chart reading experience.
