Santa Barbara Baby Blanket
This blanket is worked from the center out, creating beautiful vertical lines of lacework radiating from the center.
The pattern is written for 36” square blanket, though it can easily be extended into a larger blanket, throw or shawl.
I opted to stripe my version in the sample, though this is absolutely stunning in a solid color, or you can happily play with even more colors! I used a full skein of the Cherry and about 2/3rds the skein of Tumbled Stone for my version.
Many have inquired about working the edging of this blanket in a contrast color. For the 36” size as written, the edging took about 110 yards.
