HO HO HO!

It’s Christmas time and Mr Rabbit is in the festive spirit. Apart from drinking mulled wine and eating mince pies he likes to put on a fake beard, a Santa hat and give out presents to all his family and friends.

You can purchase just the pattern for the bunny and Santa outfit or, if you want more outfits, why not buy the eBook and get the ghost and SuperBunny outfits too for less money than it would cost to get them separately. You can also mix and match - if you make SuperBunny’s mask in black and the Santa hat you can have a Santa ninja :) once you get the idea I’m sure you can come up with you’re own original outfits too.

What you will need:

~25g of DK yarn for the bunny and a 4mm hook (If you want to use a different weight of yarn then a different amount may be needed and you will need to use this same weight of yarn and the same sized hook for his clothes to ensure that they fit). Gauge is not too important as long as you complete all parts of the bunny in a similar weight yarn and use the same sized hook. I used DK weight yarn and a 4mm hook for all parts and outfits.

Small amounts of red, white and blue yarn. A small scrap of yellow yarn.

Stuffing

A stitch marker (I just use a curtain hook but I know of people using safety pins and paper clips too)

A yarn needle for sewing parts together

A small button for attaching the bunny’s clothes

Buttons, scraps of felt or embroidery thread for eyes

A fork to make the small pompom for his tail

Ability to create a magic ring, change colour and complete simple crochet stitches such as dc and tr.
