If you have an “ugly” yarn that you bought on sale - it’s time to use it. It is very hard and prickly for things, but perfect for decoration.
You can crochet this toy with your favorite yarn - cotton, acrylic, plush yarn and your favorite crochet. The height and width of your toy will depend on the thickness of the yarn and the hook. You can use any yarn, combine several - the main thing is that it should be approximately the same thickness. If the yarn is very thin, fold it 2 or 3 times.
When making toys, you should use a much smaller hook than recommended for the yarn you choose. Make sure you crochet tight enough; otherwise, the stuffing will show through the holes.
The sample used yarn 50g (1.8oz) - red 600 m/656 yards, white 150 m/160 yards.
When using yarn 50g (1.8oz) in 3 additions sizes: small Santa - 7 inches / 17 cm, medium Santa - 11 inches /25 cm, big Santa 15.4 inches / 40cm
