Santa’s on his way into town for his annual pre-Christmas haircut. Last year he came home with a buzz cut so Mrs Claus is coming along to make sure it doesn’t happen again!

Mr & Mrs Claus wear matching red trousers and cosy red coats with fluffy trim and belt. Santa’s gone for the traditional pointy hat, while Mrs Claus has popped on her favourite pixie bonnet. It’s pretty darned cold in the North Pole so gloves are essential! They’re both about 13-14cm tall with their fancy black boots on. They also have wire in their trousers and coat sleeves to make them poseable.

Only basic skills are required including forming magic rings, single crochet, half double and a variety of puffs. The scale is small but you can use larger hooks and thicker yarns if you prefer to work bigger. Construction is kept simple and makes the most of join and sew-as-you-go techniques so as much finishing as possible is hidden inside before you close up. You won’t need much of any of the yarns (4 ply/ DK) so ideal for using up yarns you happen to have.
