Embrace all of the festive feels this year and knit the whole family matching Santa hats! This quick and fun project is sure to put smiles on everyone’s faces and look great in the family festive photos.

Knit from the bottom up, you can choose to knit this hat either flat or in the round. The hat features a double folded brim which serves two purposes, keeping ears toasty warm whilst the ribbed inner helps to give structure to the lighter fluffy outer layer. Once both layers of the brim have been knit, the provisional cast on is unpicked and the 3 needle join technique is used to join the fabric. The hat is then knit to the point, which is shaped by decreasing until only a few stitches remain.
