This is the ladies version of my Santa hat, made on the LK150. I wanted a hat with a long tapered end, so I would get plenty of swing from my pom pom!

This is suitable for a beginner, no ribbing or garter bar needed, just stocking stitch and decreases.

I used less than 100g of red yarn in this hat, and DK yarn is suitable. You could use DK, tinsel or fluffy yarn for the hem, if you use DK then just remember to use the tension for DK too.
