Santa Snuggle
I am happy to present Santa Snuggle, an overlay mosaic crochet pattern. If you already know this technique, this pattern is beginner level. I designed this blanket with Christmas sweaters and my husband- who absolutely loves Christmas and Mr. Kringle- in mind.
Pattern Specifics:
-
Beginner level: No special stitches, marked graphs and written row by row directions
-
223 stitches by 319 rows
-
Large graph, smaller portioned graphs for online use, or printed
-
graphs are marked with Xs and in light blue and white
-
Approximately 2145 yards each of 2 yarn colors (~4300 yards)
-
Finished size estimation: 55” x 80”
-
Yardage and finished size are dependent on the size hook and yarn you use, as well as your tension.
-
As described in the pattern key within the file, this pattern begins with the design color and uses the abbreviation DS to stand for: (dc, sc).
-
Though you cannot resell this pattern, you can sell any projects you make using the pattern.
Pictured Blanket Specifics:
I used the Negative Stitch which can cause some compacting of rows, thereby shortening the predicted height. Because of that, I added the Merry Christmas banner to the original design and completed all 319 rows. If you would rather leave out the banner, you would finish with Row 245. The banner alone measures 55” x 19”
Hook used: 3.00 mm
Yardage: ~5100 yards in total
Finished size: 57 x 70
