SANTA SQUIRREL measures 10cm (4in) from top to toe.

This plump little squirrel is knitted flat on a pair 3.25mm needles (US size3). Only small amounts of double knitting yarn are required and so you should be able to use some of the odds and ends left over from other projects. (USA use light-worsted/Australia - 8 ply).

This pattern was created and written by knitwear designer Wendy Phillips for the Westmorland Red Squirrel Society which is a British Registered Charity (No.1144416). All proceeds from the sale of this pattern will be used by the charity to help maintain a healthy population of red squirrels in South East Cumbria (English Lake District).
