This Santa crochet pattern is different than any other pattern you have seen. Santa can be filled with candies or other small items and uses only a little bit of polyfil/stuffing for the head. When the belly is not filled, the Santa is flat and like a ragdoll. He’s part of my new Holiday Buddy series. He measures approximately 11 1/2 inches from the tip of the head to the bottom (13 inches when wearing his hat).

Great to use as a gift bag or for storing your favourite candies, chapsticks, scrunchies or anything else that is small. A unique gift to give someone who loves Santa!

Pattern uses an F hook and Caron Simply Soft in Harvest Red, Light Country Peach, White, Black and Gold. Pipsqueak yarn was used for the trim, and there are instructions to use regular white yarn as another option.

Other yarn brands will make the Santa larger or smaller, depending on the thickness of the yarn and hook size used. Gauge: 4 sc = 1 inch, using an F hook. Instructions are included in making a regular stuffed amigurumi instead of a treasure keeper with a fill-able belly.
