Before you start this Santa Viking, read all the instructions, special techniques and stitches. You will use all of them to make this Viking.
I’ve used the yarn under method for this amigurumi but the yarn over will work perfectly too, I just prefer the way it looks.
You can choose to use wire to frame the body or not. While using wire in the arms and legs is optional you will NEED to use wire to hold the head. If you do not use it then the head won’t stay standing upright.
This pattern is worked in continuous rounds unless otherwise stated, placing a stitch marker at the start of each round.
Finished size is about 40 cm tall when using a 2.5 mm hook.

Materials:
 Hooks: 2.5 mm, 4.00mm (for the cloak)
 Faux-fur yarn
 You can choose either yarn or cotton in any colors you like, as long as it goes with the size of your hook.
 Tapestry or darning needle
 Electric wire (around 20 cm for the head alone, 2 times 20 cm for the arms, 2 times 30 cm for the legs, 20 cm for the candy crane)
 Stuffing
 2 - 12mm safety eyes
 Scissors
 Cardboard for the shield
 Stitch marker
 Tape
 Pliers for cutting wire
 Optional: studs

Cette poupée se travaille en spirales sauf indication contraire, en plaçant un marqueur au début de chaque tour.
La hauteur finale est d’à peu près 40 cm sans le bonnet avec un crochet de 2,5 mm.
Pour ce Viking j’utilise les mailles serrées torses qui ressemblent au point de croix et donnent un rendu superbe et plus resserré ( https://www.latelierdemllem.com/mailles-serrees-torses/) mais vous pouvez crocheter normalement.
Vous pouvez choisir de mettre du fil électrique ou non pour articuler votre Viking mais vous DEVEZ mettre du fil pour tenir la tête ou celle-ci ne pourra pas être droite.

 Laine fausse fourrure blanche
 Coton ou laine de votre choix assorti à la taille de votre crochet.
 Aiguille de tapissier
 Fil électrique (20 cm pour la tête seule, 2 fois 20 cm pour les bras, 2 fois30 cm pour les jambes, 30 cm pour la Candy crane (ou cure pipe pour celle-ci))
 Rembourrage
 2 yeux de sécurité noirs de12mm
 Ciseaux
 Carton ou plastique pour le bouclier
 Marqueur
 Pinces pour sécuriser le fil
 En option rivets pour décorer le bouclier.
