This is my Christmas doll Melorin. She makes a fun festive crochet project for improving beginners as well as seasoned crocheters!

The pattern includes photo tutorials on how to make a magic ring, invisible decreases in single crochet, color changes in single crochet, and invisible finishes.

The doll is crocheted from top to bottom and there is minimal sewing required.

Materials and tools you need for the Christmas doll:

• Cotton yarn in a DK / light worsted weight in red, skin tone of choice, and hair tone of choice
• 2.5mm crochet hook / Size B-1 or C-2 depending on how tightly you crochet
• 7mm safety eyes
• Fiberfill
• Stitch markers
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Craft wire (at least 1mm diameter) optional
• PVC tape optional

If using the recommended yarn weight and hook size your doll will be about 15cm / 6” tall without hat.
