This cardigan is made from the top down. The back is made first, and the fronts are picked up and worked down off of the back. The sleeve stitches are picked up and worked down off of the main body of the sweater. A crochet button and buttonhole are added, though you can use any button or closure style.

13sts x 18 rows not blocked.
12sts x 19 rows blocked.

Blocking is necessary on the front pieces to open up the ribbing.
