Santorini Scrapghan Blanket
If you have a ton of leftover yarn scraps, this project is for you! Who knew that a scrap blanket could look so good. It has the cool fresh vibes of Santorini, Greece with its blue skies and turquoise waters. This pretty knitted scrap blanket is also a stitch sampler throw. You will get to use knit and purls and knit a seed stitch, stockinette, garter stitch, 4x4 ribbing, hurdle stitch, and even a tiny bit of fair isle. The scrapghan knitted blanket comes out looking like a beautiful tapestry and no one would ever know you were just using up some leftover yarn.
This knit throw is reversible and oh so huggable. It is afghan sized and is perfect for one person, or turn it horizontally and it will be a perfect lap blanket for two. Basic stitches make it a great project for a beginner.
This heirloom knitting pattern will make a great gift for a friend or a loved one.
