The shawl is a classic triangle shape. There are border stitches on each side and increases are made at the border and on either side of the middle stitch. Written pattern only.

There are 8 chapters with garter stitch intermission in between.

This is my first shawl design and I am pretty happy with it. My family helped me pick out the name. They all saw something dragon like in the pictures and we ended up with the name Saphire. She is the female dragon in the Eragon story.

The shawl measures 230 cm in wingspan and 85 cm from top to bottom.
