“Sapphire & Jewels” Cowl

This cowl has been designed to use one skein of double knit yarn, which I have worked on large needles to create an open fabric, that’s light and warm.

The colours of the yarn inspired me to create this piece for the Outlander series, and with the dyer naming it “Sunken Treasure” it was perfect for my design.

The pattern can obviously also be created with any other yarn of the same meterage.
This is a simple knitted piece and can easily have stitches and rows added if you wish to make it larger than the dimensions stated at the end of the pattern.

It is worked flat using a tapestry of different stitches
Its been inspired by my love of Outlander and the Scottish Highlands.
