Pattern is fully written and charted

Large size pattern will be uploaded September 2, 2014. If you have purchased the pattern before this it will update in your library so you have both sizes.

Sapphire is a sideways knit shawl design. You will be working the wingspan and border at the same time.
Sideways shawls are a wonderful thing because you can easily make them longer by adding repeats to the increase section until you’ve worked half your yarn and then work the same number of repeats on the decrease side. The sample in the photos was worked with a single 400 yard skein with no extra repeats (small size as written). With this amount of yarn and working at the stated gauge I would not have been able to add repeats. However, if you’re working tighter or have a little additional yarn you could easily add length.

Due to the length of this pattern it has been broken into two files, one for the Small size and one file for the Large.

HighRes files are larger and have clearer charts.
LowRes files are good for written instructions, but the charts aren’t as clear. These files download faster.
