This pattern includes both Sarah and Duck! I would say it’s an intermediate skill level.

There is a little bit of embroidery for the face. I have included tips in the pattern but do not teach you how to do it. I included the types of stitches I used so that you can look them up if you don’t know how to do them. If you don’t like the look of the embroidery, just cut it off and try again!

I would recommend using the same kind of yarn for every part of each doll - just to ensure that it knits up evenly. The weight of yarn can vary. If you go below a dk weight I would make sure to hold it double so that they don’t turn out too tiny. I used a light dk held double and it knitted up like a worsted.
