Turner’s This is my Words is an incredible, life-changing work that is based on a true story of one woman’s incredible journey in the Arizona Territories. It’s an incredible reminder of the strength that we each have, on the inside, and that even when we fight hard to overcome, we can still find those pockets of joy.
This Cowlette was created with Sarah Agnes Prine in mind, designed especially for McMullin’s Fiber Society Lit club inspired by These is My Words, this no-fuss, ever practical knit, hopefully will remind you of your own tenacious spirit.

Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch, after washing and blocking.

Yarn: McMullin Fiber Co, Super Silky, 50% Silk, 50% Superwash Merino, 380 yds, 115 gm, 1 skein in Sarah Agnes Prine.

Needles: US 6 (4 mm) 32”/81.5 cm circular, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Supplies: Tapestry needle, measuring tape, scissors, stitch markers (4 total, making sure that one is distinguishable from the others to be the BOR m).
