Designed from the movie, Sarah Plain and Tall, Hallmark Hall of Fame collection in in KNIT format, although Cassie’s hood/scarf combo was obviously a crochet item.
Reminiscent of the Kansas 1910 period, which starred Glenn Close, Christopher Walken and Emily Osment as “Cassie” in part 3, Winter’s End, hood/bonnet/scarf was typical of “pioneer” era on the prairie, to keep out the cold wind.
