Finished doll is about 11” (28 cm.) tall using DK weight yarn (light/3) and a 3.00 mm. crochet hook
For this pattern you need to have basic-intermediate crochet and amigurumi skills and to know how to read crochet patterns.
You need to know the following crochet terms:
• ch – chain (UK=chain)
• mr – magic ring (UK=magic ring)
• sc – single crochet (UK=double crochet)
• hdc – half double crochet (UK= half treble crochet)
• dc – double crochet (UK=treble crochet)
• sl – slip stitch (UK=slip stich)
• inc(sc) – increase in single crochet (UK=increase in double crochet)
• dec(sc) – decrease in single crochet (UK=decrease in double crochet)
• inc(hdc) – increase in half double crochet (UK=increase in half treble crochet)
• fo – fasten off (UK=fasten off)
Supplies:
• DK weight yarn (light/3)
• 3.00 mm. crochet hook
• Two (8 mm.) safety eyes
• Pink eyeshadow, blush or pink chalk for the cheeks.
• 1 small white pom pom (I used an acrylic pom pom, but you can make it with yarn)
• Yarn needle
• Stitch markers
• Scissors
• Stuffing material of your choice
