Detailed description of the knitted cardigan “Lotti”.

GARMENT DESCRIPTION: Straight silhouette / loose fit / rounded neckline / short puff sleeve with a cuff.

SIZES (bust, cm) for the height from 160-175 cm / 5’2” - 5’9”:

• XS (78–82 cm / 30 3’4”- 32 1/4”)
• S (86–90 cm / 34” - 35 1/2”)
• M (94–98 cm / 37” - 38 1/2”)
• L (102–108 cm / 40 1/4” - 42 1/2”)

MATERIALS
I used yarn:
Coned yarn double stranded:
1) CONDOR Natural Fantasy: 100 g – 450 m (62% - wool, 6% - angora, 10% -silk, 18% - poliamid, 4% - modal).
Needed: XS – 180 g; S – 200 g; M – 230 g; L – 260 g
2) NATALIE: 100 g – 950 m (20% - alpaca, 32% - merino, 20% - viscose, 28% - poliamid).
Needed: XS – 25 g; S – 25 g; M – 35 g; L – 45 g
When using substitute yarn for the cardigan try looking for the yarn with the same length/weight as the original: 50 g – 200 m (catergory 2, sport weight yarn).

Recommended substitutions of the yarn skeins and cones (based on the yarn successfully used by testers / one stranded):
1) CLOUD TWEED Seam 50 g – 150 m (40% alpaca, 30% viscose, 30% polyamide)
2) SILKY ROYAL YarnArt 50 g – 140 m (35% silk, 65% merino wool)
3) POEMA TWEED Laines du Nord 150 g – 600 m (94% merino wool, 6% viscose)
4) NOBILE LUXURY SELECTION by RiGo 100 g - 400 m (70% alpaca, 10% lurex, 20% polyamide)

• You can use any yarn (cone or skeins) that is similar in weight and length that meets the gauge.
• When substituting yarn pay closer attention to the yarn content, it has to be similar to the original, otherwise you might need more yarn!

Additional materials:
Needles: 4 mm; 3.5 mm / Buttons Ø =2.5 mm (3 pieces) / Stitch markers / Tapestry needle
