Sarez
Pamiri yarn and lace flourish into a feminine and graceful fabric. Sarez is the perfect project for newer lace knitters or accomplished knitters looking for some relaxing lace knitting.
Finished Measurements: (height x circumference) Approximately 21-1/2” x 25” (55 cm x 64 cm)
Yarn: 407 yds/372 m of sport weight yarn. Shown using Kismet Fiber Works Pamiri Sport Weight (492 yds/450 m per 165g skein), 100% Goat - Cashgora. Color: Natural, 1 skein.
Needles: US#7/4.5 mm 24”/60 cm circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 20 sts/24 rnds = 4”/10 cm in pattern after blocking. Gauge is not critical for this project, but will affect the finished size and yardage.
Notions: 7 stitch markers, one in a different color to indicate the beginning of the round and a tapestry needle.
Charted and written instructions.
This pattern has been tech-edited.
Sarez is named after the Sarez Lake in Tajikistan. I applaud Kismet Fiber Works for supporting Tajik women. Pamiri is a yarn with a story. Please take the time to read about it on the Kismet Fiber Works website.
