Sari Ribbon Bag
Marlene Miller has designed the Sari Ribbon Bag as an easy knitting project (difficulty level 1/5). The pattern makes shoulder bag approximately 30cm in length, base width 25cm, mouth width 15cm, with a 90cm shoulder strap.
This is the downloadable pattern - we also sell kits which include the required materials in our etsy shop (BeautifulSilks)
To knit the bag you will require:
- 100g or 28m of sari ribbon yarn (approximately 3cm wide)
- A pair of 9mm needles
One hank of our sari ribbon yarn varies in width from two to four centimetres, although it is largely three centimetres wide. The yarn is made from many different coloured sari ribbons sewn end to end.
