“Sarnia” is a sweater of “Gansey” inspiration with a cabled yoke and a body in stockinette stitch.
It’s knitted from the top down, without any seam or short rows, or cut yarn. The saddle shoulders are knitted together with the body after picking up and knitting a few stitches on the shoulder tabs.

Two necks are available: turtle (or mock) neck knitted in the round after picking up stitches at the neckline, or henley neck for the toddlers knitted forth and back at the neckline and on the 2 sides of the front slit, with 2 or 3 buttons.

The hem at the bottom of the body is knitted forth and back with little slits on each sides.

A tutorial with photos is provided for the beginning of the construction (saddle shoulders with no cut yarn).

The pattern on the sleeves are charted and written, one chart per size.

“Sarnia” est un pull d’inspiration « Gansey » avec un empiècement torsadé et un corps en jersey.
Il est tricoté du haut vers le bas, sans couture ni rangs raccourcis,
ni fil coupé. Les manches marteaux sont formées au fur et à mesure après avoir relevé quelques mailles sur les pattes d’épaule.

Deux encolures sont disponibles : un col roulé ou montant, tricoté en rond après avoir relevé des mailles autour de l’encolure, ou bien une patte polo, tricotée en aller retour autour de l’encolure et de part et d’autre de la fente, avec 2 ou 3 boutons.

L’ourlet du bas est tricoté en aller retour avec une fente de chaque côté du pull.

Le motif des manches est disponible sous forme de diagrammes ou d’explications écrites, un diagramme par taille.
