Designed to fit the 12 Sasha Baby dolls, this tunic / sweater is flared to accommodate the baby’s sitting position.

The bottom part of the tunic lends itself to different types of stitches as long as they enhance the flare of the skirt. For example, a moss stitch would work, whereas a ribbed pattern would tighten the flare. The pink version is a 6 row vertical rib. Okay for the hat, but not great for the tunic skirt.

It is difficult to guess the exact yardage needed because it is way less than a skein of yarn. I really want to make a striped version in bright colours someday using yarns from my stash.
