Saska-socks are easy going TV-knitting to keep your hands busy while dreaming of warm feet during the cold winter months. The pattern has instructions for size 66 and 74 stitches, both cuff down and toe up with written and charted instructions.

The pattern is written both cuff down and toe up for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles.

Yarn:

100 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 420 m (460 yds)/100g.

The sample socks were knitted with Drops Nord, 170m/186 yds per 50g.

Needles etc:

2.5-2.75 mm/ US 1.5-2 circular needle 80 cm/ 40” or longer.
Marker, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge:

32 sts x 44 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4” x 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking.
