I wrote this pattern in an attempt to capture the spirit of the Pacific Northwest’s most elusive and sought after fugitives: Sasquatch.
This pattern is knitted in the round, using a loopy stitch technique to create the creature’s hairy body.
This pattern was created by Amelia Dickson, and is available for free. It is not intended to be used for profit — just for fun!
Enjoy your Sasquatch and happy knitting!
Materials:
One set of four US2 or US3 double pointed needles
Worsted yarn in two colors — about 1/2 standard sized skein of the main color (I used brown) and a smaller amount of a contrast color (I used gray)
Stuffing
Beads for eyes
Scrap of contrasting yarn for a mouth
Darning needle
