You’ll need:
#2 Sport weight yarn (approx. 64 grams or 147 m or 161 yds) of 100% cotton yarn for the bag.
You’ll also need a #3 DK weight yarn (I used approximately 1.4 grams or 3.3 m or 3.6 yds of 100% cotton yarn in three different colors: red, green, and white) for the three appliques.
A 3.5 mm crochet hook, yarn needle, scissors, sewing thread, and sewing needle are also required.
