Sassy Fingerless Gloves
These fingerless gloves are a quick make. The cuff is worked in rounds instead of vertically, so it gives them a different look and saves a lot of time.
For this pattern, you will need to know how to work in the 3rd loop of a stitch and how to work in the 4th loop of a stitch. If you are not familiar with this technique I have links to my YouTube video tutorials in the pattern for you.
The finished gloves measure about 8.5 inches long, 3.5 inches wide at the base, and 4 inches wide (at the area where your thumb goes).
I made these gloves a little bigger and longer so they could fit over a thin long sleeve shirt. You can easily adjust this pattern to fit any size you need. Just measure the circumference of the part on your arm where you want the gloves to start then FHDC until you reach that length. Slightly stretch out the chain before measuring and be sure it is an even number. If you want the gloves to be shorter and start at just under your wrist, FHDC 28 and only work Rounds 1 thru 4. If you are not a fan of foundation crochet stitches, there are instructions for traditional chaining.
The rounds that start with a CH 2 are the only rounds that the chain will count as the 1st stitch.
This pattern is part of my Sassy series. There is also a beanie, infinity scarf and ear warmer pattern to match in my Ravelry Store.
