This pattern uses American Standard Terms.

In this pattern, you will be placing half double crochet stitches in the 4th loop for some of the rounds. If you do not know what the 4th loop is I have a video tutorial on my YouTube channel and there is a photo tutorial on page 5.

My finished scarf measures 7.5 inches wide and 65 inches long (before SLST to join the brim). I made my scarf slightly oversized because I wanted to be able to triple wrap it. You can make yours shorter if you would like, just work less rows for your starting ribbing but be sure to end with an even number of rows.
