Sassy Sapphire is a straight skirt. In this pattern it is for age 7 or a size 10-12 girls. you can make this skirt smaller or larger just by adding more rows or less rows for your size and make sure the skirt part is dividable by 2.
the gauge for the:
Waist : 11 hdc, 6 rows = 3’
skirt: 3Dc CC rows, 6 Dc CC= 2’

Special stitches needed:
CC= Cross Stitch, Skip 1 st, Dc in next st, pushing the first dc forward work 1 Dc in the skipped st.

Picot stitch: sc in the next 2 stitches, ch 3 and insert hook into the front of the first sc and the chain and pull hook through all loops on the hook.
