The SASSy Square Coasters are a quick, fun make. This is a detailed PDF pattern which includes the written pattern and a photo tutorial of the link stitch (over 20 photos).

These handmade coasters are perfect for any occasion!! Just make yourself a few sets in different colors to represent your favorite time of year. They are about 5 x 5 inches square before adding the fringe and beads.

This is an ADVANCED BEGINNER pattern due to the link stitch.

GAUGE: 3 rows of Crossed HDC Stitch = 1.5”, 6 Crossed HDC Stitches (3 crosses) = 1.5”

MATERIALS NEEDED

• Medium #4 100% Cotton (I used Lily Sugar ‘n Cream); Approximately 25 yards per coaster; 100 yards for a set of 4
• 5.5 mm (I)
• Wooden beads, 10 mm
• Needle

Ch = Chain stitch
SC = Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
YO = Yarn Over

sl st = slip stitch
