Medium weight yarn (I used Red Heart With Love)
10 skeins Black yarn
2 skeins Red yarn
(1-2 additional skein(s) if you decide to trim)
5.5 mm/I crochet hook
or use yarn and hook combo to obtain gauge
Scissors

OPTIONAL
-60” x 90” knit red or black fabric for a backing (synthetic, or synthetic blend- something with a bit of stretch.add at least a couple inches all around to allow for shrinkage)
-Black polyester thread.
-Sewing machine (or sewing needle, but this option will take much longer)
-Tapestry needle
-Measuring tape

STITCHES USED: chain, single crochet (US terms)

GAUGE: 3 stitches = 1 inch
x 4 rows = 1 inch
