The Satchel Bag is designed for an 18” doll like an American Girl, Journey Girl or Madame Alexander.

The body of this bag is worked flat in 3 pieces then sewn together. The strap is knit separately and attached to the bag using D-rings. The bag is knit in a garter stitch to give a lot of body to the material once it is felted.

There are variations for an all-in-one knitted strap and a decorative chain strap.

There will be a whole series of bags available eventually, so keep an eye out for new additions.
