If you are looking for an easy shawl pattern, this Saturday Scarf crochet pattern is very easy and fun to make. If you can double crochet and complete the chain stitch, you can do this project.

This scarf is worked from one corner to the opposite side. In an asymmetrical shawl, the stitches are added to one side.

Easy. Great crochet pattern for a first shawl. You should be familiar with the chain stitch and double crochet.

Gauge
14 double crochet per 4 inches. After 12 rows, the triangle size is approximately 7 inches wide X 8 inches long. However, gauge is not crucial for this project. Additionally, changes in yarn or crochet hook may affect the finished size.

Size
Finished size: 39 inches long X 38 inches wide. this can be adjusted by adding or decreasing rows. The shawl is made with three skeins of yarn. I was able to crochet 64 rows from the yarn that I used.
